पोस्ट ऑफिस की ग्राम सुमंगल ग्रामीण डाक जीवन बीमा खासकर ग्रामीण इलाकों के लिए बनाई गई है. इस स्कीम के तहत व्यक्ति को हर दिन 95 रुपये खर्च करने होते हैं. इसके बाद मैच्योरिटी पर आपको 14 लाख रुपये रुपये मिलेंगे.

इस स्कीम के साथ ही बीमाधारक के जीवित रहने पर मनी बैक का लाभ मिलता है. मनी बैंक का मतलब है कि जिसने पैसे निवेश किए गए हैं वह सभी पैसे वापस मिल जाएंगे

ग्राम सुमंगल योजना में बीमाधारक को मैच्योरिटी पर बोनस भी मिलता है. इसके तहत कोई व्यक्ति इस बीमा में 15 और 20 साल के लिए निवेश कर सकता है.
